Sunny Side Up

A few posts back, I told you I had more photos to share from my lovely day off in the city. Well, here they are! After stuffing ourselves silly with our Off The Grid deliciousness, Alex and I hopped on the Muni to get in some quality vintage shopping time over on Haight. I spent entirely too much that day, but I figure you can't put a price on a great day. My best buys were definitely the vintage floor length lilac dress I found at Held Over and the sheer-lace panel maxi skirt I picked up at The Wasteland. Fear not, both items will be making an appearance on my blog soon enough. We took a midday break from shopping and enjoyed a relaxing happy hour, where we both overdosed on garlic-cheese fries. Why Alex and I thought we were able to eat anymore food after our gigantic lunch feast from only a few hours before? I couldn't tell you. All I know is, there was something obviously alluring about $4.00 margaritas, a guitar player strumming outside, and the sunshine beaming through our windowsill seating.

Sheer Pants: American Apparel (worn with F21 leggings underneath); Top: Nordstrom; Jacket and Sandals: Urban Outfitters; Necklace: Fair vendor; Ray-Ban's: Borrowed from Alex; Photos of me and second to last photo by: Alex N.; All other photos by: Chandamheer

  7. awesome photos! I LOVE that first shot of the elaborately detailed homes, and I also love your shot of the trees. Very cool. But what takes the cake for me is that gold-glittered dress. Are you kidding me? How FANTASTIC!!! I have a glittered top from Loft that I try to wear all the time (in fact, I'm wearing it today) but I have to say, that dress takes the cake for most insanely awesome article of clothing I wished I owned but I don't. If that makes sense. haha.

  16. Nothing is better than alcohol, cheese fries and shopping. Things like that can not be passed up, especially when offered in the same day. Your food posts always make me so hungry, even if I just ate.

I think I know where you are (all those trees). I'm pretty sure I went to a Gay Pride rally there last year!

  36. My favorite look of yours to date! I'm sure the genius pairing of the leopard print top with the sheer AA pants helped me come to this conclusion! Just wow. You look amazing. So fun to see all these SF pics. I've only been to Ashbury/Haight once (the last time I was in SF) and wish I had spent more time in the vintage stores.

BTW, are you the one taking all of these pics? I love your photos!
