I'm officially a city gal, now that I've traded in my Honda for a clipper card. I wore this outfit for a day of thrifting and happy hour-ing with Alex, but for some reason, I got a lot of stares...especially on muni. I like to think it had something to do with the fact that I looked incredibly cozy and put-together, but realistically it probably had something to do with the fact that it looked like I wasn't wearing any bottoms. For the record, I WAS, in fact, wearing bottoms (shorts, to be exact). However, as I pranced around the streets, it appeared as though I was one of those "leggings ARE pants" supporters. I am not. Leggings should never be a replacement for pants. Seriously. Truth be told, had my sweater just been a tad bit longer, I would have just worn leggings. But, my sweater barely covered my bum, so shorts were quite necessary. Apologies that I don't have a picture of me standing up, but if you can check out my blog's Facebook page to see a quick Instagram I shot for an idea of how long the sweater was on me. Anyways, this is the amazing sweater I picked up at the Crossroads Trading Co. Holiday Party from a few posts back. I absolutely adore it and I'm so glad it found a new home with me. The necklace is something I purchased at least a year or so ago, but I've always had a hard time trying to pair it with my outfits. So, imagine my surprise when it finally found an outfit to complement. Don't you just love it when things come together?
