My obsession with maxis continue and each one is a little different from the other. I'm continuing to play with peek a boos, but this time I've got little leg and waist action going on. This black beauty is from BCBGeneration. If you're looking for the perfect day to night dress - look no further, because you've found it. The strap detail is probably my favorite part of the dress - I mean, look at those cut outs! I was channeling more of a casual daytime look, so I paired it with a floppy sunhat, oversized kimono, and strappy sandals (my favorite of the moment, if you couldn't already tell). I'm happy to report that my obsession with maxis has only just begun... stay tuned for more lavish lengths to hit the blog.

Sweater weather? Not quite. I know you guys are tired from me going on and on about the beautiful weather we've been experiencing here in the city, but when you've (literally) waited all summer for summer to arrive, you get kind of excited once it finally decides to pay a visit and stay a while. My philosophy? Suns out, buns out... or legs, ha! Because let's be honest here, we only get the sun for maybe a month or so and once it's gone, boy is it gone. So might as well get in all the tan time you can, right? I'd say so.

And for beautiful days, I like to call upon playful rompers (this one's from Lulu*s!), big sun hats (like this one from BCBGeneration!) and sandals. I call this my everything under the sun outfit because, well, it's perfect for everything under the sun - picnic-ing, frolicking, tanning, and most importantly, smiling.

Camo Creature

pancakeSTACKER x Aeropostale
Camo Jacket c/o Aeropostale, Open Knit Sweater c/o Addison NY, Shorts: Zara, Sunnies: Nordstrom

Photos by: Ryan Chua

I've been searching for the right camo jacket for some time and was more than happy to find one just in time for fall at Aeropostale. We're still experiencing an Indian Summer here in San Fran, so having a jacket that can transition from day to night is key. It's lightweight enough for warm days, but just warm enough for cool nights - how's that for just right? Also, can we talk about the fit for a moment? Sometimes, it's challenge finding a jacket that's not too boxy. With drawstring ties and a flattering cut, it was easy to cinch the waistline to hug my curves just the way I like. I'm trying to hold on to every last bit of sunshine here in the city, but I know once the fall breeze hits, I'll be wearing this jacket with jeans. For now, I'm taking advantage of the heat and showing my stems some love.

Little Black Dress

pancakeSTACKER x Charlotte Russe by Ryan Chua
Dress & cuff: Charlotte Russe; Heels: Guess

Photos by: Ryan Chua

I'm convinced that there is some universal cosmic truth that a little black dress makes every gal look and feel great. Sure I'm an avid supporter of being bold and bright, but there is nothing more classic than black. A black pump, a black bag, a black dress... am I right? What's great about an LBD is that there are so many ways to wear it. You can dress it up, dress it down, let the dress do the talking, or style it up with accessories up the wazoo.

This little number from Charlotte Russe definitely left me feeling like a hot tamale. Not only did I find the cut to be ultra flattering for my body type, but the mesh detail, little cutouts and the sweetheart cut all gave the dress just that much more personality. I'm much more of a let the dress do the talking-kind of gal, so I kept the look simple (true to my nature). Though, I'm sure the next time I take this dress out for a spin, it will be a whole new story...

Ain't No Party Like An Arm Candy Party, Cuz An Arm Candy Party Don't Stop

pancakeSTACKER x Ettika x #ArmCandy
Dress: Brandy Melville; Lace Slip: Urban Outfitters: Jean Jacket & Sandals c/o Lulu*s; Sunnies c/o SEE; Arm Candy c/o Ettika

White after Labor Day? Oh, you betcha. In my humble opinion, fashion rules only apply to the close-minded (and not the closet-minded, get it??). In my eyes, the world is one big buffet - why wouldn't I want to try it all? And if that means wearing white about Labor Day, then please, let me dig in. But enough about the color of my 'fit - let's get to the sweet part...the #armcandy, hey!

I had the pleasure of picking out a few bracelets from Los Angeles-based fashion jewelry company, Ettika. The sweetie pies at Ettika asked me to create my own stack and naturally, I obliged. I mean, if your last name was Stacker, could you say to no to creating stacks of any sort? I didn't think so. For me, your arm candy should do a decent amount of talking - you want it to stand out and say something all on its own. Keeping this in mind, I went with a bold black and red color palate. My three picks were the Gold Lace Hamsa Red Leather BraceletTriple Threat Gold Bracelet in Dare Devil, and the Black Leather Braided Bracelet with Turquoise Stones. When I received my bracelets, I loved how all three blended together perfectly. I've always been intrigued by the Hamsa amulet and have to say that I'm even more obsessed now that I own one.

THE Dress

pancakeSTACKER x BCBGeneration x Brandy Melville by Ryan Chua
Dress: Brandy Melville; Heels: Zara; Bag c/o BCBGeneration

Photos by: Ryan Chua

Summer may be winding down for the rest of the country, but in San Francisco, things are just starting to heat up. For days when the wind blows a little less and the sun shines a little longer, there are dresses like this. I call this one, "THE dress." We all have one - the perfect little number that caresses the curves and appears to be made just for you. This floral frock flowed just the way I liked. When I saw it hanging over at Brandy Melville, I knew it was coming home with me. Even better? I get to test out my best "Angelina Jolie Leg" trick. Frankly, I can't compare to Mrs. Pitt, but oh one must try.
