Drybar SF x Beefeater 24 London Dry Gin Event

pancakeSTACKER blog x Drybar x Beefeater Gin Event

Last month, I attended the preview event for the new Beefeater 24 Gin. The event was held at Drybar, which couldn't have been more perfect. I mean how cute is it to have some scrumptious spring cocktails while getting your hair done? I'll admit that I'm not too much of a gin gal, but after having some tasty mixes of Beefeater's new gin, I think I've changed my stance on the drink.

The new Beefeater 24 is a special one - it's steeped with green tea for 24 hours to get a rich, smooth taste, which I felt made it that much more interesting for light cocktails. When I spring cocktails, gin doesn't typically come to mind. I've had some at past events and found the gin overwhelming in taste. Beefeater 24 is delicate, light, and airy. Beefeater made a few different drinks, special to the Drybar event. I went with "The Flip," which had hints of lemon and apricot. Talk about tasty!

As for my hair, I went with a sleek and smooth blowout - the Manhattan. I've never been to Drybar and from past blowout experiences at different blowout bars, I was initially skeptical that anyone could tame my curls. Drybar completely changed the game and I can safely say I see what the hype is about. From the wash process to the blowout process, the whole thing was a dream. My hair was smooth, soft, shiny, and everything else you could ask for. Hadn't seen my hair this straight in a while, since straying away from my blow dryer and hair straightener, so it was nice to get it done.

I'll be sharing a couple spring cocktail recipes I've experimented with thanks to Beefeater 24 in an upcoming post, so you guys can try some sweet drinks at home! Special thanks to Beefeater 24 and Drybar for the night of pampering!
