Femme Fair 2018

If you follow me on IG, or know me IRL, then you know that April was my busiest month yet. Along with putting the final touches on a 4-month-long planning process for a big client launch, signing a new client, and starting more new work, I also participated in this year's Femme Fair. There were many points in April where I thought I was losing my mind with just how busy I was (lol), but seeing everything come together and making it through with the support of so many wonderful people made it all worth it.

For those of you haven't seen my oodles of Instas promoting it, Femme Fair is a female-empowerment event that brings together women to connect, inspire, and shop! 2018 marked its second year and I was honored to take part in it alongside 14 other badass blogger babes, a handful of inspiring speakers, and, of course, a team of fiercely talented founding gals. As a gal who has only ever had a small group of gal pals in her life, I was overjoyed to meet, connect, and bond with so many strong and inspiring ladies through this event. I was also utterly impressed by everyone's creativity -- the booths were unreal. Speaking of booths, mine would have been nothing (and I mean nothing) without the help of my endlessly supportive, patient, and loving boyfriend. Did I mention that the stack of pancakes sitting on my table was a surprise from him? Yeah, I know. He wins the "best boyfriend of the year" award for that one.

Well, enough words from me. After the jump, see more of this year's Femme Fair captured by Jess Onesto.

#SFlovesHM Event Recap

pancakeSTACKER blog x H&M x #SFlovesHM

I had the pleasure of co-hosting H&M's grand re-opening event for their Powell Street location in San Francisco. It was a fun morning of shopping the new store, as well as helping one lucky blog reader pick out a free head to toe outfit! My winner, Danielle, scored big and picked out the cutest hot pink number, along with black heels and a necklace for New Year's. I also got to pick out a head to toe outfit for myself and let me tell you - it was hard! I couldn't decide whether to go with the cozy knits and beanies (obviously way more appropriate for the season) or some fun party dresses for the holidays. I ended up picking out some print on print action to spice things up.

Thank you so much to H&M for having me and to everyone who tweeted and participated in the giveaway!

Macy's Fall Fashion Event with Mandi Line

As you know, last weekend was my Fall Fashion event with Macy's! It was absolutely a thrill to be able to be a part of something so exciting. I had so much from picking out my outfit to sitting before the show and snapping photos with my fellow blogger buds. It was especially exciting being able to chat with Mandi Line, the stylist of Pretty Little Liars (only my favorite guilty pleasure show ever!). She is an absolute gem and so hilarious! Overall, it was a great turnout and not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon. I have to take a moment to thank EVERYONE who was able to make it out and show their support -- it meant so much to me to see all of you there! xo

SEE Eyewear - SF Opening Party

SEE Eyewear 651 Market Street San Francisco, CA 94105

Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the VIP opening party for SEE Eyewear's newest location in San Francisco. It was a fun event filled with familiar faces, delicious creme brûlée from the Creme Brûlée cart, wine from Four Vines Wine, and of course, stylish frames. Special guest, Mondo Guerra (from Project Runway!) was there to help celebrate both the new location and his special line, "Mondo by SEE." Mondo's new line will be SEE's first ever collaboration, and a portion of all sales will be donated to amfAR, an international organization dedicated to AIDS research. Sadly, the new frames won't be available until early Spring 2013, but I know it will be worth the wait!

Forever 21 Fun

Forever 21 2 Stockton Street
All of my F21 goodies! (picture c/o Maria)
Maria leaving with some amazing pieces.
Level one was my favorite. Boho chic and my signature style!
Close up of the contents of Maria's bag.
I knew last week was off to a good start when I was lucky enough to win Maria's $100 Forever 21 giveaway. If you know me, you know that Forever 21 is one of my absolute favorite places to shop. So, when I found out that I won not only a gift card to my favorite store, but also a chance to spend a morning shopping with one of the Bay Area's chicest and most stylish bloggers, I was ecstatic! It was so much fun going through Forever 21's new Stockton Street location here in San Francisco. Imagine three amazingly clean levels of color, print, and style. Before I knew it, my giant Forever 21 shopping bag was overflowing! I took the opportunity to branch out while picking out clothes by only grabbing items that were colorful and/or had a great print. By the end of the morning, I left with a whole bag of goodies and only paid $10 after my gift card. All and all, spending a Friday morning with a fellow fashionista and the Forever 21 crew filming and snapping pics of you, was not a bad way to start off the weekend at all. Big, big thanks again to Maria of Kitties + Couture for hosting the giveaway and Alexandra & the rest of the Forever 21 team for their hospitality!

Be sure to check out Maria's blog, if you haven't already. And for more fun, check out Maria's interview on Forever 21's blog, The Skinny, to get to know her and see some fun snaps from our morning adventure!

FINALLY... I'd like to announce the winner of my own giveaway with JewelMint and StyleMint! Drum roll please... KITKATRY924, you are the winner!! You'll receive an email from me shortly :) Thank you to ALL who entered! More giveaways are coming your way, so definitely come back soon!

A couple weeks ago, I attended SF's Fashion's Night Out in the city. I hopped from Neiman's to Macy's to Saks and enjoyed all the festivities that each store had to offer.

Gap + InStyle SF Event

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending the Gap and InStyle's celebration event for the new Fall Premium Pants Collection featuring Anh of
9 to 5 Chic and Jennie of Jennie Going West. It was a great event filled with delicious hors d'oeuvres, refreshing drinks, stylish clothes, and fun friends. I attended with Cindy and Ashley, which made the day even more enjoyable. Everyone enjoyed 35% each item, which was perfect, since I desperately needed some staples for work. I left with a new pair of soft-rose colored pants, a crisp blazer, and the softest sweater known to man (pictures of these items coming up in upcoming outfit posts).

ModCloth's Mod Hatter Blogger Tea Party

Me, Cindy, and Kathleen enjoying our ModCloth tea! (photo by: ModCloth)

This Sunday, I had the pleasure of attending ModCloth's Mod Hatter Tea Party here in San Francisco. It was a day filled with delicious tea, cucumber sandwiches, delectable desserts, and some very fashionable females. I attended the event with Kathleen and Cindy, but got to hang out and meet some other Bay Area beauties including, Anisa and Sherrie! I had a wonderful time meeting ModCloth's founder, Susan and her precious pug, Winston. It was great getting a chance to preview ModCloth's Be the Buyer collection with Jeffrey Campbell and Dear Creatures and getting a chance to participate in their "Name It and Win It" program. I couldn't get over how amazing the ModCloth office was and how fun it must be to work there on a day to day basis with such creative talents. It was such a great experience to be among some of my fellow SF bloggers, and I'm definitely looking forward to attending more events to come!  Big thanks to ModCloth for hosting such a fantastic event! For more pictures and info about the event, check out ModCloth's blog here and here!

One of These Mornings You're Gonna Rise, Rise Up Singing...

Last Wednesday it was 70 degrees out and I had the day off. It was the perfect recipe for a blogger meet up. Kathleen, Cindy, and I had been trying to coordinate a day to meet up and dine out for some time. After a series of internet exchanges, we finally set the time and place, and the rest is history! We spent the afternoon chowing down at Blue Barn Gourmet on Chestnut Street, walking up and down the hills of the Marina district in search of a shopper's paradise, satisfying our sweet tooth cravings with cupcakes from That Takes The Cake on Union Street, and we finished off the day with a photo shoot (duh!).

MANGO + Marie Claire Event

Sweater: Basic; Top: Urban Outfitters; Skirt: Agaci; Knee high socks: Cotton On; Knee High Boots: Chinese Laundry; Bag: Forever 21; Photos by: DJ Lan and Chandamheer*

A few weeks ago, I decided to request some time off work, so I could indulge in a little getaway back down to Los Angeles. I remember being extremely anxious on Thursday, while at work, as I counted down the hours, minutes, and seconds until I would be driving down to my former city. Finally, the day came, and at 5:00 AM sharp, I got into my Honda, swung by my friend's house, and off we went, driving as the sun rose and the sky went from dark to light. Now, I normally don't leave quite that early when I drive back and forth from NorCal to SoCal or vice versa, however, one major reason I decided to return to LA was because I needed to pick up my diploma on campus before the office closed in the early afternoon. I know what you're thinking -- don't they just send those to you? Yeah, well, I was pretty adamant about NOT paying the stupid $10 fee to get a piece of cardstock sent to me via the postal service. One, because I feel like the least they could do is send us alumni our own hard-earned diplomas FO' FREE, considering we, oh, I don't know, paid thousands and thousands of dollars in astronomical fees for four years, and two, don't OTHER schools send their diplomas out for free? Ah, but I digress. Long story short, my excuses to go to LA were (in no particular order) 1. to pick up my diploma 2. rekindle my Bruin love and terrorize the streets of Westwood with my college buddies and 3. get away for just long enough to come back to San Francisco feeling refreshed. So, you can imagine just how serendipitous it was when I discovered that one of my favorite bloggers, Natalie of Natalie Off Duty was hosting an event for Mango + Marie Claire in Santa Monica. I was thrilled at the thought of finally being able to meet some of the most talented and beautifully stylish Los Angeles fashion bloggers.
