pancakePRIZES: $300 to SEE Eyewear

SEE's new SF digs has the cutest frames -- the first time I was there I spent over an hour trying to decide on a pair of new glasses! They're fun, fashionable, and a fantastic price point. What I like most about SEE is that there's literally something for everyone. Whether you want a simple black frame or funky gold shades, they've got your eyes covered. Below, are a few of my top picks from my first visit to the store. Which pair do you like the best?

SEE Eyewear - SF Opening Party

SEE Eyewear 651 Market Street San Francisco, CA 94105
Photobucket

Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the VIP opening party for SEE Eyewear's newest location in San Francisco. It was a fun event filled with familiar faces, delicious creme brûlée from the Creme Brûlée cart, wine from Four Vines Wine, and of course, stylish frames. Special guest, Mondo Guerra (from Project Runway!) was there to help celebrate both the new location and his special line, "Mondo by SEE." Mondo's new line will be SEE's first ever collaboration, and a portion of all sales will be donated to amfAR, an international organization dedicated to AIDS research. Sadly, the new frames won't be available until early Spring 2013, but I know it will be worth the wait!

FNO: San Francisco

IMG_5623

Fashion's Night Out has come and gone, and this year, the events were plenty! First stop was Neiman Marcus for a private reception to kick things off! After, my partner in crime for the night, Kathleen, and I stopped by the new Kurt Geiger store and marveled over beautiful shoes (stay tuned for a future post with more shoes!). We made a quick stop to the Saks and 7x7 party (check out photos here and see if you spot a familiar face!) and then went straight to Macy's! Macy's was probably my favorite stop this year and I absolutely loved the DIY nail bar with Pams and Kin! It was so relaxing sitting, sipping on some wine, and playing with nail polish! We ended the night at the Marc Jacobs and San Francisco Magazine party and took some funny photos ...another photo booth pic to add to my growing collection!

WWD MAGIC: Photo Diary

WWD MAGIC

WWD Magic has come and gone, so I thought I'd give a roundup of my trip. It started off super sunny at almost 100 degrees each day, but on the very last day of my trip (and my one free day) it rained cats and dogs (huge bummer)! It was great discovering so many brands and meeting the people behind them. One standout moment was meeting Kyle of IN MY AIR. I was first introduced with the brand when I was doing a shoot with the Dietch PR team in LA (see this post if you need a refresher). I also discovered some amazing jewelry designers -- Fresh Tangerine (who had the cutest clipboard design going on at her booth) and Gabriela Artigas (who had the most delicate and beautiful pieces ever). All in all it was a fun trip and I'm glad I got to experience it! The next one will definitely be bigger and better!
