theBalm SF Party

Last week, I attended theBalm's new San Francisco flagship store opening with my gal pals / lovely coworkers, Alyson, Mira & Jackie. Conveniently located on Valencia Street in the Mission, the new shop is right in the heart of one of the city's most cool and creative neighborhoods. In need of a touch up before popping over to one of the Mission's trendy restaurants? Well, now you're in luck!


The new space is full of charm and surprises. Not only can you shop for makeup, but you can also get your makeup done, and even better - get it done on video for a take-home tutorial. Say what? I've always wondered how makeup artist cover up my nasty eye bags, and how they use they products they tempt me into buying. Now, thanks to theBalm, my mind can be at ease.

Another thing I've always been curious about? How theBalm's products hold up. I'm a beauty-fiend, but since I have sensitive skin, I'm fairly cautious about what I wear. After falling in love with theBalm's pretty little packages, I decided to pick up a few things. After a week of using some of the things I got (including the awesome goodies that were generously gifted to the party-goers), I've gotta say I'm pretty darn impressed.
