You've undoubtedly seen the photo from what I assume to be the most Instgrammed brunch spot in the city. Have you gotten plowed? Because I did. And it was magical. It was on my list for all of 2014 to eat at this spot, but since it's a little far away from where I live in the city (hey, sometimes you don't want to take the bus for over an hour, okay?) I never found myself able to go. Then 2015 came around and my friend (with a car, hooray!) helped me fulfill my dreams of #gettingplowed. It's a real hashtag, you guys.

We waited a little over 90 minutes after arriving at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. Typical SF behavior to wait this long for magical brunch spots, so this is something you just have to factor in. I didn't mind too much, since it was an area of SF I never get to explore all that often. After putting our names down, we walked around and got coffee at Farley's just down the street. It was a cute little spot and because I used my PayPal app, I was able to get my fancy $4 latte for only a $1. It's the little things. Then we wandered outside and found the most adorable Gratitude Tree outside of Hazel's Kitchen, next door. I found a tag that said, "No bad days. 2015," and am basically taking it to be my motto for this year. No bad days, you guys. No bad days.

After 90 or so minutes, we finally got seated. It's always hard for me to decide what to have for brunch - do I want sweet or savory? Luckily, I didn't really have to struggle to come to a decision thanks to "The Plow" -- two eggs (I got mine sunny side up), a short stack of their famous lemon ricotta pancakes, bacon, and potatoes. Mind you that because I had a coffee beforehand, I wasn't starving, so believe me when I say the hype is real. Plow is worth every minute you wait for it. Each bite makes up for it. You leave happy and full, only feeling sad when you realize that you already want to go back and you just left. Seriously. I am already looking forward to the next time I can get plowed, and between me and you, I hope it happens again soon.
