Stacker Style: Burgundy Wine

I know what you're thinking - is she turning into a wine-o? Perhaps - especially after my trip to France (but that's a story for another blog post!). In any case, before we get into the wine, I wanted to share a quick outfit post, since it's been a while! While I do spend more time capturing my eats vs. my 'fits these days, every now and then, I sneak a little fa-shun into this ole space to keep it interesting. After all, that is how this space on the interwebs started in the first place, right?

Wildfox Sunnies, Grana Silk Top c/o, Forever 21 Skirt, Sandals via Lulus.com

A couple weeks ago, Derrick and I were invited to stop by to Sonoma's Wine Country Weekend event. A full day of bites and sips from over 200 wineries in wine country! If that sounds like a lot - it is. Since we were driving, we couldn't properly partake in all of the tastings, but it was lovely to spend the day away from the city and in the sun. Because the forecast called for minimal attire, I went with a wine-inspired ensemble - a simple and easy silk top by Grana and a cotton skirt (with pockets!!) from Forever. Easy. Peasy.  I received this beautiful Grana top last holiday season when the brand had a pop-up shop in SF. It's been one of my favorite tops to date - easy to dress up or down, and the material is great. I've actually had this skirt for ages (maybe five years now??) and love that it still fits the bill when I need it to. Of course, any skirt or dress with pockets is a real winner and one I just can't say no to.
