Thirsty Tuesday (Is that a Thing?): Souvla's New Private Label Wine

I know what you're thinking. Another post on wine?? Okay, so it's been a big wine year for this little lady, but you know what? Girl's gotta grow up some time. In all seriousness, you guys already know that I'm a big fan of Souvla. So, when we were invited to celebrate Souvla's new private label Greek wines, we were there in a flash.

First, there's not much more to say about Souvla's delicious dining that hasn't already been said. The spaces are beautiful, the food is phenomenal, and the crew is nice as can be. Souvla's motto is "make it nice and be nice" - which, in all honesty, is one I think we could all attributed to everything we do.

I was itching to visit Souvla's new location on Divisidero and my chance finally came! A party to celebrate the restaurant's new private label Greek wines! Greek Red, Greek White, and my favorite, Greek Rosé! Even more exciting, the launch of the new wine program makes Souvla the country's only restaurant with a 100% Greek beverage list (this includes Greek sodas and beer!) - pretty cool stuff, no? Of course, what's wine without the perfect pairing? I've tried everything on Souvla's menu (I like it that much) and was excited to pair the wines with the different dishes. Because I know you'll all likely visit Souvla after reading this, here's the scoop: Souvla's Greek White pairs best with their rotisserie chicken and Greek cheeses, Souvla's Greek Red pairs best with everything on the menu, but especially the chicken salad and fries, and the rosé pairs best with their lamb! And, because your meal wouldn't be complete without some sweets, don't forget to finish off the meal with their Greek yogurt. Literally any one you want - they're all good!

Special thanks to Souvla and team for inviting us to celebrate the launch of your new private label Greek wines!
